Ned Murphy

Ned is the Managing Partner of Moore Ireland, a leading advisory and accounting firm with offices in Cork, Dublin, Galway, and Dún Laoghaire.

Since 2023, Moore Ireland has undergone a significant transformation under Ned’s leadership, doubling in size and expanding its national footprint through strategic mergers and private equity investment.

With over 18 years as a Partner, Ned has led Moore Ireland through a period of dynamic change. Today, he oversees a team of 22 Partners and more than 270 professionals, working across multiple sectors to deliver high impact solutions to ambitious businesses. His focus is on building a firm that combines deep local expertise with global reach, one that is agile, collaborative, and future facing.

He has been an integral part of Moore Ireland’s journey, shaped by strategic thinking, investment in talent, and a commitment to excellence. As Managing Partner, he oversaw the firm’s partnership with Moore Kingston Smith in London in October 2023, which further accelerated its growth trajectory, enhanced sector capabilities, and deepened integration within the Moore Global network. He also oversaw mergers with DHKN in Galway and HSOC in Dún Laoghaire, enabling Moore Ireland to broaden its regional presence and strengthen its service offering.

Ned’s aim is to make Moore Ireland the number one choice of accountants and advisors for the mid-market sector of the Irish economy. He is passionate about creating opportunities for clients, people, and communities. As the firm continues to grow, his priority is to ensure Moore Ireland remains a trusted advisor, a great place to work, and a firm that leads with integrity, insight, and ambition.

Originally from Bere Island, Ned studied for a Bachelor of Commerce degree at University College Cork, which laid the foundation for his career in accounting and finance.
