Moore was founded in 1970 by Vivian Nathan and Gerry Quinn, both sadly deceased. Originating in Lavitt’s Quay, the firm grow in the Munster region and opened in Cork, Skibbereen, Bantry and Mallow. The firm then expanded in Dublin in the 1980s.

In 2009 we became part of the Moore network with over 37,000 people in 563 offices across 116 countries, connecting and collaborating to take care of our client needs – local, national and international.  

In 2023 we became part of the Moore Kingston Smith group, the main London firm within the Moore UK network, with over 100 partners and more than 1,000 people based in and around London and in Northern Ireland.

In 2024, we joined forces with DHKN, the largest professional services firm in the west of Ireland with high-level expertise in audit, accountancy, corporate finance, tax consultancy & compliance, outsourced services and company secretarial all under one roof in Galway.

Today Moore is a firm of 240 skilled professionals in Dublin, Cork and Galway serving the mid-market segment of the Irish economy with differentiated and diversified services supported.

We have an ambitious growth and expansion programme to consolidate mid-market firms in the Irish marketplace. The professional services landscape is dynamic and changing rapidly, and we want to be among those firms leading the way in Ireland. We will now serve the mid-market with the infrastructural capacity of a large firm.
